About the Founder & The Spark of an Idea
Ali Hadi, the founder of Seatlr, is a passionate explorer who has visited over 20 countries and 50 cities across multiple continents. A Kuwaiti citizen, Ali brings a strong professional background from his years at the Kuwait National Petroleum Company (KNPC) at Mina Al-Ahmadi. His work in the refining sector, specifically with Jet Fuel units, gave him a unique perspective on the aviation industry—from technical operations to the passenger experience.
The Story: The idea for Seatlr was born during a long-haul flight. As someone who finds it difficult to sleep on planes and had grown tired of standard in-flight entertainment, Ali asked himself: "What if there was a smart way to connect passengers with each other and with the destination they are heading to?" That moment in the sky was the beginning of Seatlr, a platform dedicated to making travel more connected and intuitive.
